In one sentence
Kitoss does not collect any of your data. Your photos, your videos and everything you do in the App stay on your iPhone.
1. Who is responsible
Luca González, Spain. Privacy contact: soporte@luquita.org
2. What data we collect
None. Kitoss:
- has no accounts or sign-in;
- has no servers of its own and does not send your photos, videos or data over the internet;
- uses no analytics, advertising, tracking, pixels, cookies or third-party SDKs;
- does not create identifiers to follow you across apps or websites, and does not ask for tracking permission;
- does not sell or share data with anyone.
That is why the App Store lists the App as "Data Not Collected".
3. What the App stores on your iPhone
To work, the App stores the following on your own iPhone, inside its private storage:
- your progress (which months you have reviewed, which photos you marked to delete or decide later, favorites);
- your settings (sort order, gestures, language, daily reminder, icon theme);
- your stats (space freed, day streak);
- whether you bought Kitoss Pro (confirmed by Apple on your device).
We have no access to this information. If you use Kitoss widgets, some of it (for example, space freed) is shared only between the App and its widgets, on your iPhone. If you back up your iPhone (iCloud or your computer), this data may be included in that backup, under your control and Apple's terms.
To delete all of it: delete the App from your iPhone.
4. Permissions the App asks for
| Permission | What for | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Photos (photo library access) | To show you your photos and videos so you can sort them, move them to albums, delete what you confirm and save compressed or trimmed videos. Everything happens on the iPhone. | Yes, for the main feature. You can allow access to selected photos only, or change it at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > Kitoss. |
| Notifications | Only if you turn on the daily reminder. These are local notifications created on your iPhone; they do not go through any server of ours. | No. The App works the same without them. |
Tools such as "Extract Text" or "Remove Background" analyze images on the iPhone itself using Apple frameworks. The results never leave the device and are not used to identify anyone.
If you tap "Share", the iOS share sheet opens and you choose which app and whom to share with. Kitoss never sends anything on its own.
5. Third parties
The only third party involved is Apple:
- App Store and purchases: when you download the App or buy Kitoss Pro, Apple processes the payment and your purchase data under its own Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). We do not receive your name, email or payment details.
- Apple analytics: if you agreed on your iPhone to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous reports (for example, number of downloads or crashes). You control this in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
6. If you email us
If you write to soporte@luquita.org, we use your email address and what you tell us only to reply. The legal basis is handling your request and our legitimate interest in providing support (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)). We keep these messages for as long as needed to resolve your request and for no more than 12 months afterwards, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. We do not share them with anyone except our email provider, which processes them on our behalf.
7. Your rights
Since we hold no data about you, there will usually be nothing to access, correct or delete. Even so, under the GDPR, Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and any U.S. privacy laws that may apply, you can ask us for access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction or portability of any data we hold about you (for example, your support emails) by writing to soporte@luquita.org. We will reply within one month.
If you believe we have not respected your rights, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the data protection authority in your country.
We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or other U.S. state privacy laws.
8. Children
Kitoss is suitable for all ages but is not directed to children. Because it collects no personal data, it does not collect data from children (including children under 13 for the purposes of the U.S. COPPA, or under 14 for the purposes of Spanish law). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has emailed us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Your photos remain protected by iOS security (device encryption, passcode and Face ID/Touch ID). The App does not copy them outside the iOS photo library, except for temporary files while compressing a video, which are deleted when it finishes.
10. Changes to this policy
If anything changes (for example, if we ever add a feature that needs to send data), we will update this policy with a new date and, if the change is significant, tell you in the App before it takes effect and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
